We stayed at Surf Zone Nicaragua which is within walking distance of San Juan, Nicaragua.

I had a great time on the trip and I can’t thank Shawn & Caleb from Surf Zone enough for showing me the real Nicaragua. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to have a local show you around town when you’re in a foreign country.  Without Shawn and Caleb we would have had a whole different experience. The guys at Surf Zone Nicaragua are outgoing hosts and I recommend them to anyone looking to travel to Nicaragua.

We did everything we possibly could do like zip lining, horseback riding, surfing, four wheeling, hiking and best of all eating and drinking our way through San Juan.

I decided to create a screencast cause I noticed a large number of my users were having problems getting the plugin running correctly.

In the past I have used normal blog posts to aid users in setting up my plugin, but this time I decided to use video to demonstrate the installation, activation and testing of the plugin.

The end result is a more informative medium for educating the site’s visitors and hopefully a higher conversion in successful installations.

If you are looking for a great piece of software to create, edit and publish a screencast online, I suggest you take a look at Camtasia Studio. Camtasia is the best software I have found to date and worth the $300 bucks for the license. I am not one to glorify paying for software, but this time it’s well worth it.

Our trip started out by Leslie having a limo picking us up at 9:30 am on Friday morning transporting us to the Mexican border. The limo bus was really big and we jammed to Matt’s birthday CD the whole way.

Before we headed off to the boarder, we stopped off at the duty free where we purchased over 32 bottles of liquor of assorted vodkas and whiskeys. I even managed to find the cologne I have been searching for.

I wasn’t really sure what to think at this point since I really only knew about 5 out of 15 people I was traveling with. The flight was fairly calm and the best part was the free beers on the plane.

Once we landed we were greated by another limo that would take us to our condo on the beach.

The ENTIRE limo drive was a a fiasco but we eventaully got to our destination.

Once we got settled in we headed down to the beach which is about 100 yards down the road.

In about 30 hours I will be doing exactly that, I will be heading off to Cabo to enjoy 10 days of sun bathing and relaxation.  So for the past 2 days I have been preparing for a nice little trip.

Last week I hacked my iPhone and I am looking forward to capturing video via my phone and uploading to qik.com, if you have a iPhone I would check qik.com out. Other then that I have been stuffing my iPhone with all my favorite tunes.

I had to drop big felix off at his motel tonight, that was tough, gonna miss that guy.

More to come, I’ll be posting as much as I can from the trip.

I never figured out why people turn rivers green or why I should kiss someone who is Irish.

Today while working I starting drifting off and looking into four leaf clovers and how common they are.

Here are some quick stats about four leaf clovers

  • each leaflet represents something: the first is for hope, the second is for faith, the third is for love, and the fourth is for happiness
